Our tutors
Our teachers concentrate on teaching Cuban Salsa movement and rhythm. The focus is on timing, style, movement and fun. As dancers progress through improver, intermediate and advanced leveles the routines get more complex and intricate. Progression will be only as fast as you are comfortable with and more technical moves will be determined by your own ability and desire.
Will
Will has an advanced dance qualification from Cuba where he spent 6 months as part of a Latin America dance tour and is a qualified teacher. Having initially learnt Salsa in the UK, Will was disappointed with the quality of teaching he experienced here, and on his return from Cuba, Will set up SuaveSalsa to bring the very best Cuban music, dancing and tuition. Will teaches Cuban Salsa, La Rueda, and Cha,cha. 'Suave' in Spanish meaning smooth is a term used to describe a good dancer or good dancing.
