Cuba Holiday
This will be Suave Salsa's 4th Cuban holiday and we will be exploring the unique culture, history and scenery of this caribean island. And off course there will be plenty of dancing at Havana's famous night clubs and at Cuba's Casa de la Trova's and Casa de la Musicas in each town play the traditional and modern Salsa, son, mambo, cha cha music.
Arriving in Holguin, spending one evening in this town with a strong Casa de la trova and dance hall tradition. The following day we will arrive in Santiago de Cuba the Capital of the Oriente of Cuba where we will explore this city during the day and sample the night-life in the evening.
This trip to Cuba offers the unique opportunity when in Bayamo, considered the home of the Cuban Revoultion, to visit the Sierra Maestra and the Base Camp of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara. We will also be visiting the historic towns of Camaguey and Trinadad, full of small town charm and beauty before travelling onto the Capital itself Havana where we will be staying in a 4 star hotel on the Plaza de la Catedral.
