About SuaveSalsa
Having returned from Cuba in 2003 following a 6 month tour of Cuba and Latin America, which included a qualification from a Cuban dance School, Will set up Suave Salsa to provide authentic Cuban Salsa classes and high quality Salsa tuition in Kingston Upon Thames and the surounding areas. Unlike other forms of Salsa, which focus on spinning and fast hand work, Cuban Salsa uses more of the body and consequently is more fun. SuaveSalsa classes focus on rhythm as well as routines, because you can learn all the routines you like and still not be a good dancer.
SuaveSalsa will quickly teach you to dance to cool Salsa beats and gain a feel for the rhythm required for elegant and sensual Cuban movement. Our inclusive and friendly classes will enable you to relax and have fun, make new friends, keep fit and most importantly of all .... enjoy yourself Suave style.
Over this time Suave Salsa has taken a large number of absolute beginners, with two left feet and helped them to become more than competent Salsa dancers, some who have shown a talent, have taken it further and now teach for us and peform with us. You could be our next Star Peformer!!
